System Packages.
It is important to know when comparing on-line packages, to understand what they include and do not include. A complete Grid Tie System will be comprised of the following:
Solar Panels They will likely be A rated or B rated. B's are Blemished.
Rails number and lengths will depend on panel and vertical vs. horzontal mounting.
L Brackets used to mount rail to roof. How many L feet will depend on the wind load requirements for your area.
Splices to join Rails together.
End Clamps to secure end of panel array to rails.
Mid Clamps to secure panel to panel sections to rail. Bolts/Washers and Nuts to connect L Brackets to rail and splices to rail and Mid/End Clamps to rail.
Then we will need
Lag screws and Washers to attach L Brackets to roof.
Sealants, Roof Penetration Kit to transition wire into attic.
Metal Conduit to run wire from roof to Inverter, Conduit couplings, Conduit brackets and Conduit screws.
Additional 2x4's may be needed to meet weight loads. Male Conduit Connecters. Breakers, Lightening arrestors, Grounding wire, grounding lugs and grounding rod. Inverter Screws/Washers. Gray Flex Conduit for the wire run from Inverter to Utility meter along with the wire, screws and clamps and Grey Flex Conduit Connectors. Permit, Engineering stamped drawings of install design for permitting,
